With less than 50 of these in the census, it is a rare book indeed, and with Subby on the precipice of the MCU his profile is about to burst farther and deeper into the superhero zeitgeist than ever before.

This is a complete, original copy. The cover is detached but not completely split, with 3” of paper intact at the center. Nice vibrant ink strike with deep reds and robust gloss given this copy’s age. The staples show no rust. Paper is supple and still showing its strength. The overall handling wear is moderate. With a 0.5 Incomplete copy going for $1100+ in late 2020, this copy is a well-priced investment.

Defects as shown include cover and spine tears although the book presents very well. Of note there is a 1.25” cover tear beginning horizontally at 4” above the bottom of spine – reading stress, minor stains, indentations/folds, and tears as shown and as associated with copies at or just below a GD grade. There is also the lovliness of a child’s cursive claiming ownership on the front page. Long live Richard Bennings!!
