Consistently among the top 3-5 Silver Age DCs, this highly collectible book is a solid investment. Remember, Silver DCs are notoriously difficult to obtain in high grade and simply do not exist in numbers comparable to Marvels of the same vintage.

This is an UNPRESSED complete, original copy. The cover is just hanging on by both staples due to paper loss at spine as shown – this book needs to be very delicately handled to prevent cover detachment. Inks are still vibrant with strong gloss. The staples are tight and show no rust.

Defects include minor stress beyond spine, minimal hairline color breaks, mild stains, chips and tears as shown and as associated with estimated grade.

If not noted above or shown by the pictures, the book to the best of our knowledge possesses no repair, no conservation, no trimming, and no restoration.

By way of grade, I’ll call it in the range of VG/FN. I have seen slabbed VGs that do not show nearly this well, and if not for spine stress this would be shooting at FN with a press and clean. In addition, filmoplast tape would “solve” the spine delicacy for beter handling without being considered restoration, but that alteration will be the buyer’s call as we do not intend to gussy up this beauty for sale’s salacious sake.
