Hard to find this copy at market simply because no collector wants to part with it – she’s a golden beauty! Presents the first (but not the last!) time the Joker leaves Robin for dead … breathless … but brought back to life at the last minute by Bats. Closes with a Penguin snowbird story in which Batman gets shot, then saved by the tender, slug-removing and scalpel-weilding hands of a Florida nightclub singer.

This is a complete copy that presents well into FN territory. The cover is tightly attached at the staples, and has vibrant ink strike with nice gloss for a 1942 book. The staples show no rust. Paper is supple and still showing its strength.

This copy has some professional restoration, which includes pieces added, color touch, and conservation/cleaning.
